A crítica internacional, qual Berliner Philharmoniker, afina pelo mesmo diapasão, no tocante à A Valquíria de Aix.

«From the first bars of the overture, the orchestra’s rich string and booming brass instruments filled the hall, creating the tension and stirring the excitement so often associated with “Die Walküre.” And if some of the soloists later struggled a tad to compete with the orchestra, this could reasonably be put down to the teething problems of any new opera house.»

Interessante - verdadeiramente interessante -, é verificar a projecção internacional que a França tem vindo a conquistar, nos últimos tempos, no que diz respeito à gestão artística da lírica!
Recordo, nomeadamente, que o obreiro-mor desta edição do Festival d’Aix foi o Senhor Lissner, o supra-sumo do alla Scala, desde há cerca de duas temporadas.
Lissener, diz adeus a Aix, enquanto Mortier prepara o seu séjour new-yorkais...

Et oui, je suis bien francophone et ça me fait plaisir de vérifier à quel point le travail français est reconnu en dehors de l’hexagone, quoi!
